AFTER SCHOOL ART CLASSES
TERM 3 CLASSES WILL BE ONLINE.
Open to existing and new students. Zoom calls limited to 15 places.
Zoom classes will run every Wednesday at 4.30pm. Classes run for approximately 1 hour. Online tutorials will also be available if this is preferred, a class is missed or the Zoom class is full.
Term 3 Program has already started. You can still book individual classes by going to the Zoom classes tab above. Unfortunately material packs have already been delivered so you will need to supply your own materials for classes. These have been kept simple and you should be able to source them yourself. There is a list below or please look in the class description. Fiona will always give options during class if you don't have everything.
If you book more than 4 classes you will be emailed 2 free tutorials.

After school classes are provided with afternoon tea from 3.45pm to 4.00pm.
Later classes go for longer and are more advanced. Students may be presented with a more complex version of the project we are are doing that week and often they will work on longer term projects that span a few weeks.
Students will paint, sculpt, print, draw and design using a large range of mediums and high quality art materials such as pastel (oil and chalk), paint (watercolour, acrylic), clay (air dry and earthenware), paper mache, mosaic, plaster, specialty papers and printing inks. I aim to expose them to a large variety of mediums and painting / drawing styles every term.
To support this we have an artist of the week which teaches the children about different artists and artistic styles. This artist may be a well known artist or a new upcoming artist. I also like to showcase local artists.
Each child will be presented with a Sunnyside Art House Visual Diary when they start, which we will use throughout the year.
All in person classes are $27 per student, paid by the term. Discount applies for 2 or 3 children from the same family.
All classes were full at the end of Term 1. These students will get priority when classes resume (hopefully Term 4). If you would like go on the wait-list for a class please register your interest by using the form at the bottom of this page.
